Here's my favorite quote about exercise:
"Whenever I feel the need to exercise, I lie down until it goes away."

Robert Maynard HutchinsThis has always summed up my feelings on such things. :) Okay, not really. Two other girls have started walking with me at a local mall twice a week. Anyone want to join?

Huh--I always thought that came from Groucho Marx. Oh well. It's a quote I love, too. And I'm so glad you've had me watch the movie--I can appreciate the picture all the more. Have fun walking!
Ooo... Now that you say that, I think I've always heard it attributed to Groucho Marx too. So who was quoting whom? And I LOVE this movie, probably more than I should. Too funny! Can anyone else name this movie?
I tend to agree with you. Now that I've started, though, I kind of look forward to it. It's nice to have more energy, and if I'm stressed, I always feel a lot better afterwards (yay endorphins).
Happy walking!
I agree with you, Leanne. But it's more fun to exercise while complaining I think. :) Just kidding. I still miss running. (Bad knee.) It was a great stress relief once my lungs got used to it! And exercising with a friend makes it doubly fun.
I definitely hear you about exercising with a friend. I used to go with my friend Mel in college to the UCF gym, and it was a huge motivator to complain together (and, well, make each other go when we didn't feel like it).
Now I go with Brian, and it's great. He cheers me on (nothing like hearing him say "Good job, baby!" after a particularly grueling set) and I feel really close to him afterwards.
Does Morgan exercise? I bet you two could have a lot of fun going for walks and stuff.
Morgan exercises, but much of his exercise is done while not around me. We should exercise more together. I think it's fun that you and Brian do that together. I do like walking with Morgan. Aw. Just to find the time. He's only home during the middle of the day, which is naturally the hottest part. :)
Exercise? Exercise? Hmmm...... what does that word mean again?
Picking up kids, cleaning up after kids, doing dishes, grocery shopping, fixing dinner... :)
You know, I had a ton of fun walking with you. I'll join. The only catch is you'll have to come to Idaho. That's not a problem is it? ;)
Um, you'll have to come to FL. I don't walk in the snow. Or in states where snow falls more than once a decade.
